Online Security Without Tears: A ‘train the trainer’ session

Ever wanted to get started with digital hygiene programmes in your libraries, but aren’t sure where to start? Overwhelmed by the buzzwords you hear like ‘end to end encryption’, and ‘virtual private network’, but feel like you’ve been hearing them for too long to ask what they mean? This is the session for you! Join Leigh Ann, a graduate of Library Freedom Institute, and the Emerging Technologies Librarian at the Pelham Public Library for a ‘train the trainer’ session. We’ll be going over digital security and privacy basics, how you can implement these into engaging programmes in your libraries, as well as tips for the most common ‘baiting’ questions that happen in every security workshop.

This session is offered to help Paralibrarians seeking certification, but is open to others in the NH library community who are interested.
